DAVID REYNOLDS GAMES PORTFOLIO

My name is David Reynolds and I am currently studying a degree course at the University Center Colchester studying Game design and Animation. I am searching for an opportunity within a fast-paced and fun working environment, I would be a great asset to any organisation where I could offer my experience of customer service, computer skills and working with the general public as I’m able to communicate at all levels, am approachable, confident and have a great sense of humour. I am currently working 16 hours a week within a part time role at Jollyes, however I would like to start my aspiring career as a level designer.

Throughout my time at university, I have been allowed an insight into the different roles within the industry, namely 3d modelling/ animation, programming, level design, and narrative design. The area I feel most interested and confident in is level design. For me, level design is the perfect mix of creativity and technicality. This course has also helped me decide on my aspiration of working in a triple-A company as I would love the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and be involved in large scale games.
